How to book
Before booking any of our holidays, we kindly ask you to read our booking conditions.
Our group holidays are based in comfortable, hand-picked accommodation. Availability of specific room types can be limited, and therefore we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment. Before making your booking, please carefully read the holiday and grading description. If you have any doubts or questions, please contact us. We are always happy to advise and help you select the trips best suited to your interests and fitness level.
You can book your place online by using the ‘book’ button on the trip page, which will take you to our secure online booking facility. Alternatively, you could give us a call on 01997 421474 (+44 1997 421474 from overseas) to reserve your place. We will then send you a booking form by email or post.
If you are interested in one of our independent trips listed on our website, you can book these online by using the ‘book’ button on the trip page, which will take you to our secure online booking facility. It is, however, essential to wait with making any travel arrangements until we have informed you that it is OK to do so. Booking a long-distance walking trail involves checking and reserving multiple accommodations which normally takes us 2 – 3 days to complete. If for some reason we are unable to book the preferred route/or overnight stop we will contact you and discuss the options available.
If you are interested in extra nights or accommodation upgrades, you can write this in the comments box on the booking form. We will then get back to you with more information. Please note that we can only start the booking process after we have received a booking form from you.
We fully appreciate that you may have your own specific holiday ideas, and we would be delighted to help you design your bespoke itinerary. To start the process its best to use our Tailor-Made enquiry form or to give us a call on 01997 421474 (+44 1997 421474 from overseas).
After we have read your ideas and/or spoken to you, we will put together a first draft itinerary and quote. You might like our proposal as it is or this could be the start for further refining. After you have accepted the itinerary, we will email you a booking link (or post you a booking form). Once we have received your booking details, we will start making all the arrangements for you.
On booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of £100 per person for our Scottish holidays. For our overseas trips, we require a deposit of £150 person.
Please note that for a Tailor-Made holiday the deposit payment could be higher depending on the booking conditions of the accommodations and other services.
Payments can be made in pound sterling only by: cheque (made payable to North-West Frontiers Ltd), by BACS direct into our bank account (details on request), or by credit/debit card including Visa, MasterCard and Delta.
On receipt of your booking and deposit we will email you:
- Confirmation letter
- Trip dossier or trip itinerary (if not yet received before booking)
- What to bring
- Details about your accommodation
- Travel information
- Information about holiday insurance (UK residents only)
